BLUELOCK EXHIBITION Debuts in Riyadh as Part of Esports World Cup 2025

The BLUELOCK EXHIBITION has officially opened in Riyadh, marking its inaugural presentation in Saudi Arabia. Hosted within “Japan Park in Crunchyroll Box” as part of the Esports World Cup 2025, the exhibition underscores the growing cultural and creative exchange between Japan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

 

Running from July 7 to August 24, 2025, the exhibition features more than 70 high-quality reproductions of original manga art from the acclaimed BLUE LOCK series. This initiative represents a significant milestone, offering both local and international audiences a rare opportunity to engage with the artistry and narrative depth that have defined BLUE LOCK’s global reputation.

 

 

The exhibition also includes a selection of interactive installations, designed to provide visitors with an immersive perspective on the creative process and visual storytelling techniques that distinguish the BLUE LOCK franchise. By situating the exhibition within the broader context of the Esports World Cup, the event highlights the intersection of contemporary Japanese culture, competitive gaming, and international collaboration.

Written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura, BLUE LOCK has captivated audiences since its debut in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine in August 2018, and it has now surpassed 45 million copies in circulation worldwide.

Miami, USA, June 24rd, 2025. KODANSHA Ltd., the iconic Japanese publishing house behind globally beloved manga and anime titles, and the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (Concacaf), are proud to announce a first-of-its-kind collaboration featuring the critically acclaimed manga and anime series BLUE LOCK.

This marks Concacaf’s inaugural partnership with a Japanese Manga (Comic) and Anime (Animated Series), uniting two global passions through a shared spirit of competition, ambition, and teamwork. Through this distinct alliance, fans across the Americas will experience exclusive original content, limited-edition merchandise, and crossover activations that blend the intensity of international football with the storytelling power of Japanese animation. BLUE LOCK, based on the award-winning manga created by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yusuke Nomura, follows the intense journey of Japan’s top strikers as they battle in a high-stakes training program to become the ultimate forward. With themes of ambition, competition, and teamwork, BLUE LOCK resonates deeply with global football culture, making it the perfect fit for this groundbreaking collaboration.
